Alaida Chaidez is a college student currently attending Northeastern Illinois University. Alaida tackles themes of uncanny nature such violence and horror. Various video games, comic books, and TV shows inspire their works. The usage of color schemes that are based on the blue and purple hues is a recurring design decision throughout their art. Their works are open to interpretation so that the viewer can create their own conclusions about the work. Their work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the Northeastern Illinois University campus.
